High School Summer Research Internship

The five- week summer research internship provides an unique opportunity for high school students to participate in Cyber Security, AI and Virtual Reality based research projects with mentorship from distinguished college professors from Southern California CSU and UCs. It will be offered hybrid mode (some meetings will be in-person and some will be remote). All interns will write a research poster and at least a 3-page research paper. Participants will have opportunities to participate in optional team building activities at Disney and Universal studios premises. Optional lodging available for non-CA applicants.

    • June 10- July 18, 2024
    • MW or TuTh; 8am-noon or 1-5 pm

  • Eligibility

    • Full-time high school students in US
    • Basic coding skills preferred
    • 20 hrs per week time commitment

  • Logistics

    • Apply by Apr 30, 2024; pay after acceptance notification
    • Fees $300/week + optional lodging and activities
    • Limited income and merit based scholarship available.
